The USA Today best-selling novel that raised $50,000+ for the Trevor Project (and whose top-rated Goodreads review is simply “Holy fucking shit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”) is available right now as an audiobook, narrated by the author, me. Your dawg Michael Surber handled production and provided Explosions In The Sky-style guitar throughout. A half-dozen early listeners said we did a good job. 🫡
You can listen to it in your podcast app of choice via Supporting Cast.
Or grab it at Shutdown Fullbooks (for just about whatever price you want) and upload it into your usual audio app.
It’s also at normal audiobook outlets like Audible, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, Libro, Spotify, and Walmart. (If you’re a Spotify Premium or Amazon Prime user with an Audible trial, you can probably listen for free. It’ll count as a sale for me, so no worries there.)
It’s priced everywhere at like half the cost of most new audiobooks.1
But wait, there’s more
We’ve added this Shutdown Fullbooks exclusive ebook: the ANNOTATED STUDY BIBLE EDITION ($5) with:
80 bonus pages of behind-the-scenes footnotes on every question anybody’s ever asked me about the book or its background (including literary analysis such as Which X-Men Are Each Of My Characters),
plus deleted scenes (inclluding stuff I really wish I’d had room for, very different 2020 versions, and some confusing shit),
plus 80 sneak-preview pages of a potential sequel (it’s the Shaun of the Dead of Left Behind meets X-Terminators — starring maybe my four favorite HIAWWY characters)2
and this handsome cover, an homage to various 9/11-era specialty Bibles (graphic design is my Passion Conference):
Get at least one or two of these things today, especially because — if you’re a college football fan — I’m gonna hassle you about it every week in the Watch Grid anyway.
Yep, we’ll do another TBD charity thing later this year, but that one will be based on something besides sales.
Why so cheap? Because we’d rather you buy one instead of buying none (and/or gift one to a friend). The book has sold over 10,000 copies in under nine months, already more than doubling the lifetime sales of the average book by the average publishing company (pretend I said this with humility), and we’d like to run up the score evangelically.
They thought novel one was niche? Rofl
Absolutely dead at "graphic design is my Passion Conference." Great pull.
I think I already know the answer to this question, but I bought and downloaded the audiobook on my phone, is there a way for me to share it with my wife so she can listen to it in her phone? We listened to just about half of the book on a road trip over the weekend and both want to finish it
