I took a fair amount of guff for stating that I felt a Quaker sense of the spirit in a circle pit at a metal festival one time, where there was nothing but euphoria & other folks (metal-head bros, for the most part, but a fairly representative sampling of society) helping each other up and ensuring that everyone involved was safe & having a good time.
